Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Ruhu, Inc. (“Stillwalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Stillwalk mobile application, website, and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information; accepting these Terms does not replace any separate consent we request. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use. The Services are not directed to children under 13.

02

Stillwalk’s role

Stillwalk is a Christian faith companion for Scripture reading, prayer, reflection, journaling, and personal formation. It is designed to support your practice; it does not speak for God and is not a church, pastor, spiritual authority, licensed counselor, health-care provider, lawyer, or emergency service.

AI can make mistakes. Review AI responses carefully, open Scripture alongside the conversation, and verify references for yourself.

Do not rely on the Services for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, crisis, or emergency advice. If you or another person may be in danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional. For spiritual care and significant personal decisions, seek help from trusted people and qualified leaders in your community.

03

Using the Services

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use. App-store rules may provide additional permitted household or family use.

You agree not to misuse the Services. You may not:

  • use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm, threaten, exploit, or impersonate another person;
  • interfere with security, access controls, networks, or normal operation;
  • probe, scrape, overload, or access the Services through unauthorized automated means;
  • copy, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services or their content except where we expressly permit it; or
  • reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
04

Your content and choices

You keep ownership of the journal entries, prayers, notes, prompts, recordings, images, and other content you create (“Your Content”). Private app content is designed to stay on your device. You give us no license to private local content merely by creating it.

When you deliberately send content to support, export it, share it through your device, or use a connected feature, you authorize the recipients and service providers you select to process that content as needed to complete your request. If we offer an optional community feature, content you choose to post may require a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license for us to host, display, reproduce, moderate, and distribute it within that feature. We will explain those terms before posting is enabled.

You are responsible for Your Content and for maintaining device backups you need. We generally cannot retrieve private content that remains on your device.

05

Free and paid features

Stillwalk may offer free features and a paid Stillwalk Plus subscription. The price, billing period, included features, introductory offer, trial, taxes, renewal date, and other purchase terms shown in the Apple App Store or Google Play at checkout are the terms that apply to your purchase.

Automatic renewal

Unless the store says otherwise, a subscription renews automatically for another billing period until you cancel it. Apple or Google charges your selected payment method. Prices may change with notice provided through the store and as required by law.

Trials and introductory offers

A free trial or first-year offer applies only when displayed at checkout and only to eligible users. If you do not cancel before the trial or introductory period ends, the subscription renews at the price and frequency shown by the store.

Cancellation and refunds

Manage or cancel your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to purchase it. Deleting the app or your local data does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refunds, billing disputes, and restore-purchase requests are handled under the applicable store’s rules and non-waivable local consumer law.

06

Third-party services and content

The Services may rely on or link to app stores, subscription processors, download hosts, device services, Scripture and open-source resources, or other third-party services. Their terms and policies govern your relationship with them. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Bible translations, models, fonts, libraries, and other included materials may be subject to separate licenses and attribution notices. Those materials remain the property of their respective owners.

07

Availability, updates, and downloads

We may add, improve, limit, or remove features as Stillwalk develops. We do not promise that every feature, model, voice, translation, or download will remain available. Some features require a compatible device, sufficient storage, supported operating-system version, downloaded model packs, or internet access.

On-device models can be resource intensive. You are responsible for your device, connectivity, data charges, backups, and installing updates needed for security or compatibility.

08

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Services handle personal information. Stillwalk’s privacy-first design is part of the product, but no device or service can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any content you export or share.

09

Stillwalk property and feedback

The Services, including the Stillwalk name, logo, design, software, curated content, and other materials we provide, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer that ownership to you.

If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, while you retain ownership of any rights you already hold in the feedback.

10

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access to a connected feature if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the Services. Where practical, we will provide notice and a reasonable chance to address the issue.

Termination does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription; cancel it through the store. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain in effect.

11

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services or AI output will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, spiritually authoritative, or suitable for your circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ruhu, Inc. and its directors, employees, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including where applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13

Disputes and applicable law

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. Any unresolved claim may be brought in a court with competent jurisdiction under the laws that apply to you and the Services. Nothing here deprives you of mandatory consumer protections or the right to bring a claim in a forum available to you under applicable law.

14

Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services change. We will post the revised Terms with a new “Last updated” date and give additional notice when required. Changes apply prospectively when the revised Terms are published, unless we specify a later date or applicable law requires advance notice or your agreement. For material changes, we will explain when they take effect. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the Services.
